I have some news I’ve been looking forward to sharing, and I want to tell you what it actually means, because the honor itself is only half the story.

Inman, the largest and most trusted name in real estate news, events, and professional development, reaching more than a million real estate professionals, selected me as a Community Leader for Inman Connect San Diego 2026, their flagship national conference. Out of a huge industry, they chose a small group of agents to help welcome people, start conversations, and strengthen the connections that hold our profession together. I’m honored to be one of them.

But here’s why I’m really sharing this with you. A recognition like this isn’t about a title. It’s about how you show up, and that’s the part that affects you directly.

Real estate is about relationships, not transactions. The reason I was drawn to the Community Leader role in the first place is that it reflects what I believe about this work. Buying or selling a home isn’t really a transaction to me. It’s a relationship, often one that lasts for years and spans more than one move. The agents Inman recognized are the ones who invest in people, and that’s exactly the standard I hold myself to with every client I take on.

“A recognition like this isn’t about a title. It’s about how you show up, and that’s the part that affects you.”

Staying connected to the industry is how I stay sharp for you. Being part of a national conversation with the best agents, brokers, and innovators in the country isn’t networking for its own sake. It’s how I learn what’s working, what’s changing, and what’s coming, in a market that shifts constantly. When I sit in those rooms and trade ideas with top professionals from across the country, I bring what I learn straight back to the families I represent here in the Greater Sacramento region. You get an agent who’s plugged into where real estate is headed, not one who’s coasting on how it used to work.

More than twenty years, and I still treat every home like it’s the only one. I’ve spent over two decades helping people buy and sell homes, from first-time buyers to luxury sellers to investors building a portfolio. I started in the mortgage world as a loan officer, so I understand financing and contracts from the inside, and I later sold hundreds of new construction homes for one of the nation’s largest builders. That background means I can guide you through a complicated deal and make it feel clear instead of overwhelming. But experience only matters if it’s paired with genuine care, and being named a Community Leader is a reminder of the kind of agent I want to keep being: one who shows up, does the work, and puts the client first every single time.

If you’ve been thinking about making a move, whether that’s this month or sometime next year, I’d love to talk it through with you. There’s no better time than now to understand your options, and I’m always glad to help you figure out what’s possible.
